Hello my name is Lucy and i am the proud owner of Countryside Paws.
As a dog owner of two gorgeous springer spaniels Spud and Chip i can appreciate how they become such a huge part of our family and we always like the best for them.
I have always owned dogs however not always worked with them in-fact i have spent most of my life as a professional horse rider.
This has given me a very good grounding for animal care and having worked with many owners this has allowed me deliver a first class service.
Sadly after a couple of nasty injuries i then made the decision to change my career and with no regret this is when i decided to start up Countryside Paws.
It is rewarding that i can still put all my love and experience in to animals.
Having previously provided house sitting as part of my equestrian work i already had great knowledge of all animals big and small and could start up with great confidence knowing that i can provide a great service.
I feel very grateful that i live in the most beautiful village of East Stratton. It provides me with a great base to offer some of the most amazing walks for dogs with endless amounts of bridleways, forestry and even rivers along the way. Do not worry you wont miss out with lots of regular pictures and videos along the way.

service catering for everyones needs and to give you confidence i am fully insured and qualified.

MEET AND GREET
We would never expect you to leave your animals with a stranger and that is why we offer this invaluable service free of charge . All of our new clients that decide to sign up receive one of our welcome packs and go straight on to our loyalty scheme.
GROUP WALKS
If your dog is social and loves to run and play our group walks are so much fun ! Our 1hour walks in open countryside are sure to give them the exercise and fresh air they need along the way . No two walks are the same with endless bridleways and footpaths on our doorstep.
PRIVATE WALKS
We know offering this service is hugely important for so many reasons. It is ideal for puppies first walks , older dogs that need to take their time or for dogs who simply cannot cope with other dogs. You tell us how we can help with your dog’s individual needs and we will deliver . £
ANIMAL CHAUFFEUR
We understand that with busy work days getting your pets to appointments can be a real inconvenience. Take the stress away and let us do it for you in our fully insured, comfortable and purpose built transportation. Your Animals will be a VIP for the day!
DROP IN SERVICE
There is nothing worse than running late to get home to your animals that need feeding or being away all day and your dog or cat is in need to be let out for an afternoon toilet break. We are happy to pop over no matter how big or small the task is even at short notice . All animals are catered for from fish to horses and everything in between!
HOUSE SITTING
There is nothing more comforting than your animals being looked after in their own home . Whether it’s just an over night stay or you are off for a 2 week break , we have you covered.
WEDDING CHAPERONE
Is it your dream to have your animal at your wedding? Look no further as we can make your dream a reality. We pick your animal up in the morning and we will see you at the church! You can tailor this package to your requirements, tell us what you need and we can make it work totally stress free for your big day.
